（3）HMC3細胞：HMC3細胞系通過人類胎兒腦源性原代小膠質細胞培養經SV40T依賴性永生建立。通常被應用于神經科學及神經炎癥的研究。該永生化的小膠質細胞群能無限性生長，用于小膠質細胞的生化功能分析，它們也易于轉染而通常用于轉染基因的表達研究，具有原代小膠質細胞的特性。
（4）基因表達：Resting HMC3 cells were strongly positive for the microglia/macrophage marker IBA1, positive for the endotoxin receptor CD14, but negative for the astrocyte marker GFAP. Markers of activated microglia, namely MHCII, CD68 and CD11b were negative in resting HMC3 cells, but upregulated after activation by IFN-gamma (10 ng/ml, 24 h).
